On April 13, the ADR Section will be volunteering at the Peace Learning Center as “Peace Mentors.” The Peace Mentor Program is a half-day program where we'll work with area school children teaching peaceful resolutions to conflict. As conflict resolution professionals, volunteering with the Peace Learning Center provides us with a unique opportunity to use our skills outside of the legal community.
Peace Learning Center is a past recipient of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation's $35,000 Impact Fund Grant. To learn more about the history of the Peace Learning Center and all their programs, go here.
If you are interested in volunteering for on April 13, you'll attend a one-hour training session at 9 a.m. prior to working with the children starting at 10 a.m. We'll be finished for the day by noon. Get more details and RSVP here! Hurry—spots are limited!
