The day that most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions (for those of us who make New Year’s resolutions) has come and gone. According to research, Jan. 17 is the day that most New Year’s resolutions fail, but it is not too late to resolve to become more involved with the Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation!
An excellent and cost-effective way for mediators to become involved with the IndyBar is to attend the Continuing Mediation Education (CME) courses sponsored by the IndyBar! A registered mediator must complete a minimum of six hours of commission-approved CME courses anytime during a three-year educational period. To check CME credits status, go online to the Indiana Courts Portal here.
The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the IndyBar will be sponsoring four CME courses during 2020. The topics and dates will be listed on the IndyBar event calendar here, so keep an eye out!
As a reminder, the IndyBar location at 135 N. Pennsylvania St. is now closed and the IndyBar will be moving into its new office, located at 140 N. Illinois St., on March 2! Be on the lookout for details on a grand opening celebration in April!
