Hello everyone. Unbelievably, we are halfway through 2015. Have you participated in any ADR Section activities yet? If not, there is still time and we have many opportunities coming up to enhance your ADR skills and practice.
In September, we will be hosting a Mediation Day with Paternity Court and we are seeking family law mediators to volunteer for half-day mediations. In October, we are working with the Civil Court judges to host a Mediation Day and we are seeking civil law mediators to volunteer for these mediations as well. If you are interested in participating or would like additional information, please let me know
You've asked for more advanced level CLEs, so we are revising some of our programming with that request in mind. We have two more CLEs scheduled this year in October and December. More details will come about these programs and of course, our website is the best place to stay updated on what's going on with our section.
Lastly, just a reminder about our "Meet the Mediator" articles . We are seeking mediators to be highlighted on our web page. It's an easy (and free) way to get your name and mediation services promoted. If you are interested, just submit a short paragraph about yourself and/or the mediation services that you offer to Rachel Beachy.
As always, I welcome any feedback and suggestions to enhance our section. The section is here for you, so please let me know if there is anything we can do or change to make sure it is doing its best to meet your needs.
