Oftentimes when mediating a case, the final agreement comes down to numbers: What can a party offer and what is the other party willing to accept? However, this article talks about how focusing solely on the numbers of a case can have a negative effect. In a study, researchers found that when peopel worked with numbers alone, unethical behavior was more likely. Check out the article for more of the study's findings.
