Are you among the millions of Americans who’ve resolved to be more productive in 2022? The key to success is translating the intention into specific actionable steps. Since making the productivity resolution myself some years, ago I’ve gleaned many useful tips from business self-help books and engaged in plenty of trial and error. Following these four practices has made a real difference in my productivity.

At this time, all jury trials in Marion County will be continued and reset after January 21, 2022. Additionally, facial coverings will be required and occupancy capacity will be limited in all areas of the courthouse.

Last year, I started writing this column in my car outside of my daughter’s ballet studio, tired and cautious, but hopeful. I end it writing from the second floor of the majestic Riviera Club, amidst the comingling odors of disinfectant and turkey Manhattan, more tired, less cautious and a bit resigned. Is this growth? Is this progress? Or rather, is this a spiritual ouroboros? Was David Byrne right after all? Is it all really the “same as it ever was”?
