US Attorney Joseph H. Hogsett Announces Resignation
In a letter submitted to Attorney General Eric Holder on the morning of July 14, Joseph H. Hogsett announced his resignation. Hogsett has served as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana since October 2010. He supervises a staff of 30 lawyers who serve as Assistant United States Attorneys.
During his time in office, new records have been set for the number of defendants charged and the total number of criminal convictions. Hogsett outlines other positive strides in his four years as US Attorney in his letter.
