Free Legal Advice Available June 10

Dealing with a legal issue can be stressful, intimidating, and above all, costly. This week Indy-area residents can take advantage of a free consultation with a friendly volunteer attorney to help resolve their legal problems and enjoy the summer with less stress and anxiety. On Tuesday, June 10, the Indianapolis Bar Association will offer Legal Line, a free call-in legal advice service, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000.

Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line will be prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, personal injury, employment law and more.  All calls are confidential. Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or go online to www.indylawyerfinder.com.

Legal Line takes place the second Tuesday of each month from January through November. For more information on legal advice programs offered by the Indianapolis Bar Association, visit www.indybar.org/community/legal-advice.

This community service is sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association, a 135 year old organization of Indianapolis area attorneys, judges, paralegals and law students, and is made possible through the generosity of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the association.
