Legal Question? Free Advice Available September 10

An answer to a nagging legal question has never been easier to find, and it’s free too! On Tuesday, September 10, the Indianapolis Bar Association will offer Legal Line, a free call-in legal advice service, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000.

Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line will be prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, personal injury, employment law and more. All calls are confidential. Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or go online to www.indylawyerfinder.com

In addition, free face-to-face legal advice will be available on October 8 at Indianapolis Public Library branches throughout the city at the IndyBar's twice-yearly Ask a Lawyer program. Details can be found at http://www.indybar.org/community/legal-advice/ask-a-lawyer.php.

This community service is sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association, a 135 year old organization of Indianapolis area attorneys, judges, paralegals and law students, and is made possible through the generosity of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the association.
