Several Proposed Rule Amendments Open for Comment

The Marion Superior Court and the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure have posted several proposed rule amendments that are currently open for public comment.

Marion Superior Court
The Courts have issued proposed amendments to the Civil Law Local Rules and are requesting comments from the bar and the public. Click here to view the Order, and click here to view the proposed amendments to LR49-TR3-200.

Comments to these proposed Local Rules will be received through noon on April 9, 2012. Comments to these proposed Local Rules should be e-mailed to the Office of the Court Administrator, c/o Glenn Lawrence, at Glenn.Lawrence@indy.gov, or mailed to:

Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure
The Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure has posted several proposed rule amendments that include changes to rules concerning Business Counsel Licenses, change of venue in criminal cases, change of venue in civil cases, acceptance of service by fax or e-mail, selection and unavailability of special judges, and continuing legal education.
