Legal Questions? The IndyBar has answers.
Getting legal advice for a nagging problem may seem overwhelming, but it’s never been easier and it’s free. The Indianapolis Bar Association is here to help with Legal Line, a free legal advice call-in service which will be held on Tuesday, September 13. Attorney volunteers will be answering calls to help the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000.
Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line are prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, personal injury, employment law and more. All calls are confidential.
Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Individuals with questions about bankruptcy can also contact the IndyBar’s Bankruptcy Help Line on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at (317) 269-1910.
These community services are sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association, a 133 year old organization of Indianapolis area attorneys, judges, paralegals and law students.
