Free Legal Advice Offered July 10

Have a question for a lawyer?  It’s never been easier to get a quick answer, and it’s free. The Indianapolis Bar Association is here to help with Legal Line, a free legal advice call-in service which will be held on Tuesday, July 10. Attorney volunteers will be answering calls to help the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000.

Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line are prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, personal injury, employment law and more.  All calls are confidential.

Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or use the IndyBar's online lawyer search service Indy Lawyer Finder to find the appropriate attorney based on specific legal needs.

Individuals with questions about bankruptcy can also contact the IndyBar’s Bankruptcy Help Line on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at (317) 269-1910.
