The purpose of the IndyBar Health Care & Life Sciences Section is to provide a forum for interaction and information exchange to enable its lawyer members to serve their clients more effectively; to produce the highest quality non-partisan educational programs, products and services concerning health law and life sciences issues; and to serve as a public resource on selected health care and life sciences legal issues.

A Message from the Section Chair

“Welcome to the Health Care & Life Sciences Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association! Indianapolis is a great city with a robust health care industry with a great community of health law attorneys who practice in virtually all areas of health law. Being a part of the Health Care & Life Sciences Section provides opportunities to share experiences, learn from each others' expertise and develop the collegial relationships that make us all better attorneys. With the passing of the health care reform law, the health care industry is subject to increasing scrutiny and the laws and regulations surrounding health care continue to change and evolve. The Health Care & Life Sciences Section has been and will continue to be an important means for attorneys practicing in this area to stay up to date on developments, especially those areas unique to Indiana health care providers. I have enjoyed being a part of the Health Care & Life Sciences Section, and I invite you to join our committee or provide input into ways the section can be more valuable to you and your practice ”
