This program discusses whether an individual under guardianship has the capacity to create or amend his or her estate planning and also explores the many estate planning options available to a guardian by statute to plan for an incapacitated individual
The program provides attendees of all ages and levels of experience with information on how to determine whether an individual has testamentary capacity to alter his or her estate plan. This program will further guide practitioners in understanding the myriad options available to guardians to do estate planning on behalf of an incapacitated individual when he or she lacks testamentary capacity.
Attorneys in Indiana can currently receive up to six hours of credit per three year educational period through approved distance education activities. If you attended the live version of the program you cannot receive credit for viewing the program again online.
