Financial Disclosure in Clinical Trials
Continuing Legal Education
This program features information related to the rules for financial disclosure in clinical trials. Topics addressed include the following:
- FDA rules for submitting information about clinical investigators’ financial interest in clinical trials.
- HHS rules for disclosing financial conflicts of interest in Public Health Service funded research.
- The requirements for sponsors to report payments made to physicians conducting research under Physician Payment Sunshine Act.
The penalties for failing to report can be burdensome, including the FDA’s refusal to accept a marketing application when appropriate financial disclosures are not made, and significant monetary penalties.
Attorneys in Indiana can currently receive up to six hours of credit per three year educational period through approved distance education activities. If you attended the live version of the program you cannot receive credit for viewing the program again online.
Please NOTE: Plus CLE members who select the free (no credit) registration option will not receive credit for viewing this program. If you wish to receive credit, please select the "Member" registration option.
