Look for the Silver Lining: Finding Value in Mediation Even If The Case Doesn't Settle
Continuing Legal Education
A panel of mediators and attorneys address strategies useful in civil and domestic mediation in gaining value from a seemingly failed mediation. Topics include the benefits of partial settlement, discovery planning, negotiating stipulations, narrowing issues for trial, and using mediation for a “reality check” of your client’s or your case strategy.
(Disclaimer: At the end of this presentation, a Q&A session is conducted. IndyBar is aware that not all questions are repeated nor captured on audio. We apologize for this and hope it does not detract from the overall course offering.)
