Continuing Legal Education
This program educates trial counsel about the most important procedural and substantive aspects of a family law appeal in an effort to assist counsel in advising clients on whether or not an appeal would be appropriate. Topics covered include errors reviewed on appeal, standard of review, timeline for the appellate process, costs of an appeal and relief on appeal.
(Disclaimer: At the end of this presentation, a Q&A session is conducted. IndyBar is aware that not all questions are repeated nor captured on audio. We apologize for this and hope it does not detract from the overall course offering.)
