Companies are increasingly engaging in cross-border transactions in part because the internet and other information technologies facilitate such transactions. This program addresses specific cross-border/international legal issues that companies face as they operate in the Digital Age.
The issues discussed are useful not just for companies engaged in e-commerce, but also for brick and mortar business using information technologies to support their business activities. Viewers learn to spot certain types of legal issues that may arise due to the cross-border nature of a transaction.
Attorneys in Indiana can currently receive up to six hours of credit per three year educational period through approved distance education activities. If you attended the live version of the program you cannot receive credit for viewing the program again online.
