Recent Developments in Investment Adviser and Investment Funds Law
Continuing Legal Education
The legal landscape for investment advisers and managers of investment funds has changed dramatically since the financial crisis of 2008. From new custody rules to the Dodd-Frank Act, and through the recently passed JOBS Act, advisers and fund managers are now faced with new regulatory requirements and oversight that they have not experienced before. However, these rules also present new opportunities.
This program summarizes the recent developments in the law and regulations applicable to investment advisors and fund managers and highlights the principal opportunities these new rules present.
Attorneys in Indiana can currently receive up to six hours of credit per three year educational period through approved distance education activities. If you attended the live version of the program you cannot receive credit for viewing the program again online.
