Whether you represent lenders or borrowers, this seminar is helpful in its discussion of what lawyers need to know to navigate commercial real estate workouts and the workout process. Commercial real estate loan workout agreements allow loans to be restructured to protect a borrower's interest in property and the lender's investment.
Specifically, the speaker discusses forebearance agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, receivers and specific types of troubled debt restructruing transactions.
