Preparing for Constitutional Challenges to Ordinances
Continuing Legal Education
July 15, 2014 Tuesday 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Judicial challenges to legislation are becoming just as common as political fights in the legislature. This has been and will continue to be a problem to municipalities who want to pass legislation to improve the lives of their citizens. This seminar is intended to be an instructive guide to anticipating, avoiding, defending and hopefully winning constitutional challenges to ordinances.
Attorneys for government agencies or attorneys who represent government agencies, municipal legislators or employees, litigators or other lawyers who are interested in constitutional challenges should attend.
Please note: lunch is not included with this seminar. Brown bag lunches are welcome. Carryout is also available from the Labor District Cafe on the second floor of our building. Online ordering is available here.
