"Can I buy you lunch? No, really, can I?" Ethics & Lobbying Rules with State & Local Governments

The seminar will cover interactions with state and local officials and governmental regulations on those interactions. The program will cover basic state ethics requirements that state officials must follow when interacting with representatives in the private sector, as well as other lobbying requirements when dealing with agents of the executive branch of state government. Panelists Cynthia Carrasco and Brandon Clifton will address these topics (respectively). Amy Waggoner from the City of Indianapolis will also discuss these same topics at the local level, including discussion of the city's ethics requirements and other requirements for interacting with local government.
