Intellectual Property for Start-Ups

Continuing Legal Education

February 19, 2014 Wednesday 12:00pm - 1:00pm

This seminar will describe for you and give you an understanding of the key intellectual property concerns and issues faced by start-up businesses. The issues covered will include selection of business and product/service names, the basics of intellectual property ownership and common website issues. Nearly all start-ups and small businesses have intellectual property that needs to be protected – but they may not know it. This seminar will help attorneys that represent those businesses identify those issues and provide greater value to their clients.

This program is part of the 2014 Busines Law Skills Series. Check out the full series here.

Please note: lunch is not included with this seminar. Brown bag lunches are welcome. Carryout is also available from the Labor District Cafe on the second floor of our building. Online ordering is available here. Use coupon code INDYBAR to receive 10% off any pre-order carry-out purchase.
