Mental Health Issues at Mediation
Continuing Legal Education
October 22, 2013 Tuesday 4:00pm - 5:00pm
During this program, Dr. Fletcher and Dr. Barbera will present information on common mental health disorders that can interfere with mediation efforts. Participants will learn how to identify possible mental health disorders and respond in ways to improve the likelihood that mediation will be successful.
Attendees will benefit from the extensive experience of both a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist, learning new ways to communicate with clients or parties who may be suffering from certain mental health conditions. This program will be of value to both mediators and even non-mediators who want to be educated on how to recognize certain mental conditions and deal more effectively with clients in spite of those mental conditions
