Time Management Skills for Lawyers: Take Control!
Continuing Legal Education
August 19, 2013 Monday 11:30am - 1:00pm
What if you had an extra hour of time available to you each day – how would you spend that hour, and how would it change your life? In today’s fast-paced world of information overload, time management is an essential life and work skill. People who are poor managers of time experience difficulty in all areas of life – not just at work. People who manage time effectively report less stress, increased satisfaction with daily life, and greater accomplishments than those who struggle with time. Lawyers who manage time effectively can capture more billable time each day and feel more in control of their practices and their lives.
During this seminar you will learn how to fight the most common daily time-wasters (think interruptions, email overload, procrastination, poor planning, stress, and disorganization). Participants who register for this seminar will be asked to complete a brief online survey in advance so that program material can be targeted to the audience in attendance.
Lunch will be provided.
