Written Discovery and Depositions
Continuing Legal Education

Learn the skills you need to effectively draft and respond to Requests for Production of Documents and Interrogatories and the ins and outs of conducting and defending a deposition. Participants will work on sample discovery and learn how to effectively use discovery in a deposition.
If you have interest in this session, it is part 3 of a series of Civil Litigation offerings from our Attorney Apprenticeship Program which includes:
- Negotiation Tactics and Alternative Dispute Resolution (April 10, 1 to 4 p.m.)– More and more civil litigation ends in mediation and settlement. Learn effective negotiation tactics to resolve your client’s dispute as well as the basics of a good settlement agreement. (IBA453)
The Attorney Apprentice Program is designed to provide substantive knowledge and practical experience to new and less experienced attorneys. Designed to bridge the “knowing-doing gap” often experienced by new practitioners, the program includes practice and role play to accelerate the learning curve and personal growth of participants.
The Attorney Apprentice Program features a core curriculum aimed at developing attorney business and marketing skills. The core curriculum will be presented on Friday, April 19, 1 to 4 p.m. (IBA456)
