Indiana Referendum Law
Continuing Legal Education
March 27, 2013 Wednesday 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Referenda are an increasing phenomenon on election ballots throughout the State of Indiana. Why? How do some public policy questions make it onto a ballot, while others are left to the legislature, elected officials or the courts to decide? The answers to these questions go to the heart of how we Hoosiers govern ourselves.
This seminar will be a survey of the types of referenda that could land on ballots in Indiana communities. Bring your lunch and join us to help increase your understanding of this topical issue.
Reminder: Section members who have paid full dues have pre-paid for this and/or any four of the other 1-hour CLE courses presented by the Government Section this year.
