This session will address current issues and law addressing different type of liens and subrogation interests and challenges posed with settling cases in light of varying repayment statutes and contractual provisions. The existence and types of liens drastically affect the ability to negotiate settlement. Only by addressing the issue from day one can attorneys effectively settle cases legally and fairly.
