Intellectual Property Licensing Roundtable
Continuing Legal Education
September 23, 2014 Tuesday 12:00pm - 1:00pm
During this one-hour roundtable the panel will discuss selected aspects of IP licensing agreements, such as audits, indemnification and patent prosecution. They will also then review language from actual agreements, issues that arose during the life of the agreements and potential drafting improvements.
Many years can pass between the time when an agreement is executed and the time when the agreement is disputed. Often, the drafting attorneys are not involved in the resolution of the dispute and, therefore, do not have the opportunity to observe the effect of their efforts. Attendees will gain experiential knowledge from others and will thus will be able to draft better agreements in the future.
Attorneys involved in IP transactions should attend.
Please note: lunch is not included with this seminar. Brown bag lunches are welcome. Carryout is also available from the Labor District Cafe on the second floor of our building. Online ordering is available here.
