Expungements 2.0 - An Update to Reflect Law and Policy Changes

Continuing Legal Education

September 19, 2014 Friday 11:30am - 1:00pm

You will leave this seminar with a greater understanding of expungement policy and procedures. We have something for everyone. For experts: an emphasis will be placed on recent changes made to the law. For novices: a step by step explanation of how to handle an expungement, start to finish, will also be included.

Andy Fogle of the Marion County Prosecutor's Office will share the policies and procedures used internally for the purposes of evaluating expungement applications including a discussion of 'automatic' vs. 'approval needed' cases. Libby Miliken will discuss practice pointers and tips for the defense attorney.
This seminar is applicable to all criminal defense attorneys or any attorneys interested in having a client's criminal record expunged.
