Practicing in Small Claims Court

During this one-hour presentation, attendees will learn about filing a small claims action and the use of discovery and motions. We will cover the best practices for the presentation of evidence and persuading the judge.
Tips for working with a pro se litigant will also be covered as well as common practices for executing the judgment. Newly admitted attorneys and associates who will be trying matters in small claims courts should attend.
Please note: lunch is not included with this seminar. Brown bag lunches are welcome. Carryout is also available from the Labor District Cafe on the second floor of our building. Online ordering is available here.
