The Indianapolis Bar Foundation

The Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Indianapolis Bar Association, is a community-focused leader of the local legal profession. The foundation's ongoing grants and programs are maintained solely through the generosity and energy of its directors, fellows and donors. To further its mission and to make a greater impact on Indianapolis, the Foundation asks for your financial and volunteer support.

Mission

The Mission of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation is to advance justice and lead positive change in Indianapolis through philanthropy, education and service.

The Impact Fund

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Impact Fund Grant. See below for information and the grant application. Applications are due April 1, 2013.

The 2012 Impact Fund recipient was announced at a Celebration Breakfast on Wednesday, May 30. Reach for Youth's Teen Court Project was selected to receive the $35,000 Impact Grant provided by the IBF.  Teen Court is a program designed to reduce recidivism for first-time juvenile offenders by giving them a second chance to repair the harm they've caused without experiencing formal court prosecution.

In 2011, The Indianapolis Bar Foundation awarded $35,000 to the Health and Human Rights Clinic operated as a collaboration of Wishard Health Services and the Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
