Spotting Issues in International Business Transactions (BUS342)
Intermediate Level Seminar
Practicing law in Indiana doesn't mean that international legal issues will not land on your desk. The world is getting smaller for your clients as well. Whether businesses are outsourcing to reduce costs or selling into foreign markets, company counsel should be alert to those issues that can create liability or unanticipated consequences for clients. The discussion will focus on giving a broad understanding of typical legal issues that arise in an international business context and how counsel can spot those issues before trouble arises.
